The Lakewood Ranch High School Jazz Band entertained those attending the Community Celebration and Health Fair on Aug. 28.

Entering through an arch of mylar balloons, adults and children of all ages receive a firsthand look at their new hospital and its spacious rooms.

The Community Celebration and Health Fair showcased many health-related activities and organizations to the delight of those attending. Health screenings and a chance to meet the physicians on staff at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center were of special interest to the citizens of Manatee and Sarasota counties.

The Women's Center at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center was one of the tour highlights on opening day. Thousands of guests were impressed with the beautiful and spacious suites in the center and its convenient access through the designated drive-through entry.
