A Call for More Volunteers
The auxiliary also elected a new
president, Nancy Stolle, who joined the
auxiliary six years ago. "My husband
had open-heart surgery at Manatee
Memorial seven years ago," she says. "He
received great treatment and after he
recovered, we both joined the auxiliary
as our way of saying thank you."
Volunteers can choose an area of
service and times best suited to their
talents and schedules. "There are so
many things you can do as a volunteer,
and everything is appreciated," says
Stolle. "Plus, you get to work with a
wonderful group of people."
